Activity feed and proof

Monitor real-time activity — actions taken, proposals pending, and governance events. The standalone activity bucket folds into Sidekick's Proof widget and Notifications; per-job activity remains a drill-down inside Jobs.

Where activity lives now#

The legacy /sidekick/activity list view is gone. The same information now surfaces through three places:

  • Sidekick Proof widget — ask "what just happened?" or "show me the audit trail" and Sidekick renders the event stream inline with replay deep-links
  • Notifications (the workspace bell, configured at Settings → Notifications) — covers the live "something just happened" stream
  • Jobs → Job → Proof — per-job audit feed for operator drill-down, the Proof section on the job detail page (/dashboard/<workspace>/jobs/<id>)

Event types#

Action executed●Sidekick completed an approved action
Proposal created◐Sidekick is requesting approval
Proposal approved✓An action was approved (manual or auto)
Proposal rejected✕An action was rejected

Governance change⚙A rule was created or modified

Filtering#

In the job detail page's Proof section you can narrow the stream:

  • By type — show only proposals, actions, or governance events
  • By connection — filter to a specific service (Gmail, Slack, etc.)
  • By user — see activity from a specific team member
  • By date range — focus on a specific time period

Real-time updates#

Activity feeds update in real time. New events appear at the top with a subtle animation.

Info

The activity feed is read-only. To take action on a pending proposal, ask Sidekick to show the Approvals widget — you can approve or deny inline without leaving the conversation.
