Your inference wallet

LumenFlow is pay-as-you-go. Each workspace has an inference wallet of prepaid credits that managed AI usage draws down. This covers topping up, checking your balance, setting limits, and what happens when credits run low.

How paying for AI works#

LumenFlow has no subscription. Managed AI usage is drawn from a per-workspace inference wallet of prepaid credits, and governed work carries a small governance fee on top. If you bring your own provider key (BYOK), that usage is billed by your provider and skips the managed-inference wallet.

Managing your wallet#

  • Top up — add credits to a workspace. There is a small minimum top-up, and credits are valid for twelve months.
  • Check your balance — the workspace billing surface shows current credit and recent usage.
  • Set limits — budgets and alerts let you cap spend and get warned before you hit it. See Budgets & Alerts.

When credits run low#

If a workspace's wallet is empty, managed AI usage — including Sidekick chat that relies on managed inference — pauses until you top up. Work that doesn't need managed inference is unaffected, and topping up resumes it immediately.
